Every Child
Oregon, Arkansas, Indiana
Founded in 2012
Our Mission
Every Child mobilizes community to uplift children & families impacted by foster care.
Every Child strives to increase the recruitment and retention of families who are willing to open their home to children in crisis. The strategy invites people to contribute to the need in their community by supplying tangible goods or services, volunteering, or caring for a child. By providing simple ways to engage, community members who likely never would have become foster (resource) parents are now interacting with child welfare in meaningful ways.

Big News:
National Expansion
In February of 2020, Former Assistant Secretary of the Administration for Children and Families, Lynn Johnson, brought her team from Washington DC to learn more about the scaling power of Every Child Oregon.
She said: “If I could clone what you’re doing here, I’d clone it in 50 states, and in the territories and with the (Native American) tribes. You’ve created something unique and impressive. I’m amazed.” Read More.
We are answering that call by expanding the Every Child initiative into new states across the country in 2023 and beyond!
MyNeighbor
Launched in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Contingent created a way for neighbors to help neighbors by donating tangible good. My Neighbor mobilizes community members to meet the unique, pressing, and tangible needs of families.
