The Contingent Adventure Day

The Contingent flew in staff from all over the country – including our two new branch offices in Indiana and Arkansas – for a week of goal setting, team building, and one jam-packed day of adventure.

Thanks to the tremendous generosity of the Murdock Trust, our staff spent a day in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. Part of our staff spent the day painting and practicing yoga, while the rest of our staff were rafting the Deschutes Rapids.

It was a joy to be out on the water with our team. It was a beautiful July day in Oregon, and we got chat with people we don’t always work with (in between paddling through rapids). Thank you to River Trails for being our guides for the day.

While our Rafting crew was navigating treacherous waters, the rest of our staff were creating beautiful works of art and relaxing.

Both are great team building activities we highly suggest for any companies, nonprofit or otherwise.

We feel grateful to have gotten this quality time with our team, especially with a busy fall ahead. Everyone is working hard, and we will have some big updates to share with you soon.
